Hey that's a great coin snake! Really cool tone too! Unlike my usual self I can't say much negative about it but you know I'm partial to xx97. Really a strange coin because the 16th star represents Tennessee which became a state in 1796 and all the other 1796 denominations had the 16th star in 1796 except for the dollar. Of the 3 varities for 1797 this is the only one with 6 stars right which adds to the coolness. If I remember right only about 2,000 out of 7.000 total mintage were the 10x6 variety.
Change that we can believe in is that change which is 90% silver.
Dag, dog! You have quite a memory. I am impressed.
Cointoast - I usually don't spar with anyone unless they have manifested a certain intellectual capacity and maturity. I have in the past, mistakenly attacked children and I fear that you are a teenager masquerading as an adult.
PM me with a copy of your driver's license and say something impressive (other than referencing your pornographic material under your bed) and I'll consider engaging you.
Look, your worship,'' said Sancho. "What we see there are not giants but windmills, and what seem to be their arms are the vanes that turned by the wind make the millstone go."
"It is easy to see," replied Don Quixote, "that you are not used to this business of adventures. Those are giants, and if you are afraid, away with you out of here and betake yourself to prayer, while I engage them in fierce and unequal combat."
Cointoast - you've never prayed for wisdom, have you? You should start doing that now and soon you will have more money than any other person on the bus.
Well Adrian, I made the mistake of hitting the "My Stuff" link. What a mean trick to play on a Monday morning after a long holiday weekend. The coins are very impressive, and very overpriced I might add. It's kind of odd to me that a coin forum has become a comfortable place for lawyer bashing. Other than you, and Bob Rhue, how many lawyers are coin dealers anyway? By the way, we met in Baltimore. Can you guess who I am? (not that it matters)
First, how long did you lurk before posting and what caused you to come out?
Impressive....very overpriced??.....where do you get your impressive and cheap coins from?
By the way, I usually find people that criticize my prices have unattractive coins for companions. That may not be you, you may have have great looking coins that you bought at 10% back of bluesheet bid. Show us your best and tell us the price you paid.
Were you the guy holding the booger in his left hand? No?.......OK, I give up.
Lawyers and coin dealers - there are exactly 17 of us, give or take 30.
Adrian; Sorry I offended you with the words "very" and "over". The value of any coin is what the owner can sell it for. If I want to pay double or triple gray sheet for a coin that's my decision. Nobody is holding a gun to my head. I don't have a collection of spectacular coins. I do have a nice collection of type coins, and I can't remember the last time I bought one for gray sheet or less. How did you know I'm left handed?

My lawyer has advised me that the 1797 you've got posted here is truly cool . There aren't too many of those around in mint state, are there?

I was actually hoping you had a comment....But I guess you were being careful and didn't want to become "Liable" LOL.......

Love to Pit my 8th grade education against yours......Unless your busy at the moment
