I really do hate being sniped! yeah sure, i could do the same thing, but I dont. I really hate when there is no action, then with a few seconds left, bam! GONE! I saw it happen, he hit my max, and got in a bid before I could get a higher one in. I just lost two auctions, to the same person this way! and if you are watching (you know who you are) I hate you!

it used to bother me too but anymore I will bid exactly what I am willing to pay. If I win, fine......if I lose, who cares.

fcloud, nah competition is when you bid, and someone else can bid, then you can bid again, like in a real auction. I usually bid what I am willing to pay, but when you lose the auction for less than a dollar, well it hurts. On high $ auctions, I dont care as much, but low buck stuff gets to me sometimes.

I lose way more than I win. And, yes I get frustrated, too. But, I just do as others do. If I really want it I will go in at the last minute and bid.. And, I use a modem, so I lose some because of the slow connections.
