First Light

If anyone out there is into astronomy, you'll know what the subject means. To those that do not, it is the "First Light" that the newly built telescope sees. In this case, my first Coin Pics.
This is no ANACONDA, but it is my first pic and my first toned coin.
This coin resided in an ACG slab, no longer. not sure if this was the best thing to do, but I supose I will get it from both dug-outs. I just couldn't bare to see such a pretty coin in that ugly slab, especially when I learned of the disdane most have for the ACG slab in particular.
Well, What do you think. The ACG slab was MS66. Do you agree? I am sure it is not, but I am not as experienced as most of you at this sport.
Thanks

Looks like an nice original coin to me but I will leave the split grading opinions to the experts on these...
Nice pic, too
Seems like a nice coin.

I don't know how the coin will grade, but excellent job with the pic! Little coins are tough to shoot to begin with, and even tougher when you add toning in to the mix. That certainly looks one hell of a lot better than a first attempt!

BigD5: The reverse is a bit flat, but it is better in person than the pic. I like the color too. I bought it off of Ebay and couldn't really see the colors from the sellers pic.
darktone: I used a Sony Cybershot DSC-P9. 4.0 Mega pixels. It 'works great.
pmh1nic: I knew that slab thing would get me, I'll neglect to mention ACG to anyone else .
This is a lesson to me, I did not know that week strike could affect the rating of the coin, for some reason I thought that contact and curculation marks were the only things that would detract the grade. Makes alot of sense to me tyhough that strike and other factors would cause problems though.
Russ: It wasn't my first attempt, just my first published. It took about 20 shots to figure out the best combination of light and angle. The light source I was using was kind of harsh too, so I could prolly do better.
Thank you all for your feedback, this hobby is starting to get really interesting.
Oops, I'll put up pic of my Franklin, and maybe lucybop will show up .
