Thanks for the reply's on the coin Picture
I will say one thing though....regardless if it's real or AT the dealer I bought this from is a STAND UP GUY.
He has offered me a full refund on the coin right now and if I choose to submit it and it comes back AT he has made me an offer to return it that I cannot complain about or go wrong with.
He even went so far as to tell me what he paid for the coin..
Either way...I would'nt hesitate to do biz with him again......

Glad you are happy with the deal and your after purchase options. That is all that counts!

Well, Lucy, think of it this way. In no way shape or form will you be getting ANY competition from me for ANY Franklin halves. Good for me. Good for you.

But some people post picutures of coins asking for opinions. When someone posts a picture of a coin and asks for an opinion, we should be kind enough to give it to them along with other unsolicted advice of a hurtful and critical nature especially when the person asking the advice is like a raging bull, goring and stomping every human in the room, like Cointoast.
Just my opinion.

(kettle)
Is that sig line "(kettle)" as in "calling the pot ..."? Just curious. I couldn't think of any other "kettle".

<< <i>Sure, I think it's an unattractive coin but who cares what I think? I didn't buy it so it isn't my business. People should buy what THEY like not what someone else likes. Hell, I think all Franklin halves are atrocious but that does keep people from collecting them...good for them! jom >>
I agree with that, however, I don't think it is worth the submission- if that fee won't get refunded, then why bother submitting it? It will get bodybagged, so I just don't see the use in sending it in...

I did, though, get another book case to match my first...so...still have a little extra shelf space!
