1985-87 Garbage Pail Kids

I ran across a box with almost a complete run #s 5-340 from 1985-87. Some of these look like they would grade out 9 pretty easily (mostly the ones from '86). Is there a niche for these cards out there? Would the good ones be worth sending in for $5/each?
Currently collecting the Nolan Ryan Basic and Topps Player sets.

    Nice find! Yes send them in. About a week ago a PSA 7 (oc) sold on Ebay for alot more then I thought it would(Sorry I don't remember the number). Or you can PM me and sell them raw to me : )

    I remember collecting these cards as a kid and I think one day i'll try and put a graded set together of them, but I won't be for a while. Series 1 and 2 from 1985 are listed on the registry with one set registered for each. I would look at these set and see witch one this collector needs to see witch ones to get graded and offer to sell to this collector. I don't know if there are any other collectors interested in these cards.

    I would certanly be interested in 9s of the popular ones such as Nasty Nick or Adam Bomb. GPKs were my introduction to card collecting. Many great memories of those things.
