Why would anybody "feature plus" on e-bay for a Bust $ ?

I don't get it. There are two maybe three pages total for bust $'s on e-bay. feature plus cost 20 bucks. As far as I'm concerned they're all feature plus. Now Morgans are different there are maybe 160 to 200 pages of Morgans you feature plus and your always in the first three pages (the same as the total pages for bust dollars). Seems like a waste of 20 bucks to me.

If it's a pcgs or ngc certified bust $, they could be looking to seperate the item from the pack. There are a lot of bidders that do "pcgs" searches, or "ngc" searches. That would be my guess. Same with "bust". I've done searches just plugging in Bust half dollar before. Same kind of thing. I agree with you though. $20 is steep for that kind of seperation.

  • Do you really need to spend 20 bucks to seperate form a pack of two or three pages? thats the logic for a Morgan with a pack of 160 to 200 pages. A search will retrieve whether its featured or not. I still don't get it. If I guessed it's the people that feature everything and they really didn't even realize they're not getting the bang for their buck.

That's a good point, one I hadn't considered. Does a "featured plus" coin also appear on other pages? For example, if it's a PCGS Bust dollar, will it appear at the top of the page (featured) on a "PCGS" key word search hit?

I wish all the coins I was listing were monetarily "worthy" of listing via Featured Plus. image

  • A featured coin is listed in the feature section (top of the list) and also in the spot it would be in if it wasn't featured.
