Leave it to a kid to take great pics!

In his first try at putzing with my digital camera, my son took these pics - so much for analyzing the heck out of our approach! - Just get a 16 year old to do it for you! image

Todays goofing around produced these. All have been enhanced from the original but to my suprise 3 of these actually look like the coin now.

So Frank's got a new toy image. Not bad for the first try. Why brand and model did you get?

Saddly enough - I've had the camera for about 3 months and have taken hundreds of pictures with it. It's a Sony Mavica - My son just picked it up today and started shooting - he figured out all the bells and whistles in no time and he's a whiz with paint6, so he was able to adjust the brightness to bring the pictures as close to the coins as possible!

I heard the Mavica is a great camera with a lot of good feature...and a thick instruction manual to go along with it image. Keep playing.

    3. Kid - Yes - we're using three 100 watt reveal bulbs, and we're still having to turn up the brightness by using paint 6. Once you do that the pic looks about as close as you're going to get to the real thing.

Believe it or not Kid i use a flaslight that has 19 LED lights in the head. It gives off a pure bright light and seems to do a nice job. but i must warn you
      the flashlight is about $130.00
