I submitted four coins last Friday at the Santa Clara show.

I received this E-mail yesterday:

AM.

It shipped via USPS with Tracking Number: HL. For any further questions, you can

For PCGS in the United States call toll free at (800) 447-8848.
For PSA in the United States call toll free at (800) 325-1121.

From outside the United States call (949) 567-1234.

Or send us an e-mail to .

Customer No: XXXXXX - Tom Hannigan
Internal Order No: 10092484 - Submission No:

**** DO NOT REPLY TO THIS E-MAIL ****
It was automatically generated by a computer.

I removed my customer number, but they never included the Submission Number.
The invoice was 3000488 with a zipcode of 94403

So, did it or didn't it get graded, and did it or didn't it ship?

Lanlord I don't know what happenned on that one. I looked up the order number and it says it was received of Friday and is still being processed. Link to invoice

Numish, that is what I see too. But their E-mail states that it shipped already. This seems awfully quick for turnaround time. Perhaps they were not busy, perhaps my number was up for all the Pr70dcams for this year and it didn't need to be looked at (okay, I'm just being fecetious here). Just seems confusing to me, especially since it's my first time through the routine.

Maybe someone meant to send you a message saying the coins have been received but accidently sent you the shipping message. I don't think they are grading coins that fast. I'd just assume the coins haven't been graded yet.

Just to muddle things further, I received the "coins received" message on the 26th. Perhaps this is the case that someone accidently sent the "shipped" message. Since it's a holiday week, I guess I'll let ya all know on Monday if there is more information to be had.
  • Thats quick service Lanlord! I have been waiting for over two weeks, but I sent my coins in economy.
Lately they have been getting graded in two weeks or under, but not this batch. Glad you got yours so early. Of course If you gave me your coins in person I would probably put a rush on them.

My economy coins were received on nov 6th. Not done yet.
  • That fast a shipment can only mean one thing. Sorry in advance. - Just joking I have not idea if it means anything.

My economy coins were received on 10/28--not done yet.

On the other hand, on a different submission I did get the "coins shipped" e-mail about a week ago and the coins arrived earlier this week. Yet, the online status still says the submission is undergoing further processing.

I mailed a shipment on 11/22/02 then 3 days later it showed received on "11/06/02" ..... really???.... on Monday I will be calling PCGS to complain about "slow" service! "PCGS has had my coins for over a MONTH! I want them graded NOW!!! imageimage

In God We Trust.... all others pay in Gold and Silver!
  • I think that meant that they shipped from the show location to PCGS. I submitted coins at the Baltimore show and got the same email, they still show in process.
