One would think it would be the Gray Sheet so those subscribers get their money's worth. I generally use CoinWorld Trends as a guide...but I'm guessing those retail prices may be a little "strong"
If you don't have the time or inclination to constantly monitor this stuff, the grey sheets are about as timely as most people need. The grey sheets, combined with the blue sheets, combined with checking auction results at Heritage's site give you even more informtion.
A little of course but, I noticed that prices for common dates sre going up. A few months ago ( about March ) I bought a 1879-s ms66 for $210 and was white,frosty, and no spots. Now I see them around on the internet for about $230-$250 range. At least thats what I`ve noticed.
