Does being a submitter make you more critical?

As opposed to buying slabbed coins from the internet auctions, or from the local dealer, do you find being able to submit coins directly to the grading services makes you examine their grade assignment more critically? Obviously, you have an opinion of raw grade before submitting.

  • I think it does. When you buy coins off the internet the opinions have been rendered. As I've read more and more - both here and literature recommended by members, I've grown accustomed to finding little nuances which before I just took for granted. Plus the fact that if I post a rotten coin on here Clankeye will start a thread to make fun of me! image ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ oops - wrong sidewalk image
