Hope it looks as good in person (Updated)

I sprung for this one. Looks nice in the picture. Hope it looks as good when I get it. Has anyone else here bought from American Rare Coin?

1956D Washington

Update. Just received it in the mail. It is as nice in person and should make 66.

It looks good for a coin from a roll.

I'd be a little concered over what seems like wear on the ear and the eagle's chest...

How is that only a 66? That thing is unreal looking.
  • Almost as good as Lanlord's lady!! (ALMOST!)

    Congrats!

HMM...it looks like the coin has substantial crud on the left below "Liberty" on the obverse. You can see it more clearly by inverting the scan:

But, for $9 I'd say it's worth the risk.

I hope I'm wrong, but I'm speaking from quite a bit of experience with image editing -

That image just doesn't appear to be a natural image of a quarter. The field to the left of Washington on the obverse looks like it has been pastelized, played with. It appears that for some reason or another, that something has been digitally removed or enhanced....and that's just the most obvious spot. I see other places in the fields on both sides that appear to have been digitally enhanced. Like I said, I hope I'm wrong, but it hit me the second I saw the photo.
