PCGS slab error/variety question for Conder...

I believe this to be an error, but wanted to run it by Conder's expertise. I today received in the mail an eBay win in a PCGS blue insert (bar code on the back), which does not list the Series or Coin numbers ... It certainly looks unusual, with all that blank space between the grade and the certification number. Any thoughts/knowledge, Conder?

There are two additional sub varieties of this early blue label variety. On coins that come with more than one type, such as the Bicentennial dollar, the coins slabbe in Nov of 1998 have T1 or T2 below the grade. Coins slabbed in Dec of 1998 have Type 1 or Type 2 below the grade. (Once the slabs with coin and series numbers came out Type X became the standard way of expressing it.)
More confusion. . .
The bullion coins and commemorative coins also did not have coin or series numbers but the coin ID is in the upper left corner and the date of the coin appears below the grade.
Then in Mid 2001 they added coin and series numbers to the classic (pre-1982) commemorative coins but the Bullion and modern commems still did not have coin or series numbers.
In March 2002 the barcode was moved to the front label of both the with and without coin number varieties.
So in the light blue labeled production slabs you have a total of five different varieties plus two sub varieties from Nov of 1998 to Nov 2002. I have all of them except for the two sub varieties. The non- bullion, non-commem slabs without the coin and series numbers are becoming quite scarce now
