How does it effect the value of a coin if it is

stamped slightly off center of the planchard. I am looking a real nice buffalo nickel with
a nice stike but I noticed that one side of the planchard is thick and the other side is
without an edge. Its only on the reverse like the die was off center a little when it
struck the coin.
does this diminish the value of the coin?
I like the coin a lot and it has a real nice stike but was wondering if I ever went to sell
it that it might come up that the value is less due to this.
Thanks for any help

They usually won't get you too much of a premium like an off-center but with buffalos being Hot who knows what it could go for.
It won't hurt the value.
Can you post a pic?
Sorry no scan with a camera, maybe I can use my HP document scanner
by the way its a 1917-S buff AU+
