you can put my knowledge of artificial toning on the head of a pin and still have room to park my pickup!! i watched some of that AT video over last summer and it seems that the colors are in the wrong order and too vibrant to be natural. but the description is "genuine" Russ!!!! i saw an AT morgan at a show saturday. it's owner said he did it with liver of sulfer or something like that. remember, on the head of a pin....................
Go into the Bid History and look who has bid on that [ARTIFICIALLY] toned Morgan - none other then Bryan @ TBT. If anyone could, I bet he could get that coin into a PCGS holder!
It'd be interesting to see. I wonder if that coin was submitted with, lets say a eleven other monster toned Morgans, and listed last on the invoice, would a grader @ PCGS notice that its [ARTIFICIALLY] toned, or after seeing 11 other monster naturally toned coins just give that last coin a pass?
Do you think that ever happens
It also amazing that some don't even care where the color came from - he does have several bids!
I would not mind having that morgan or another one similar to study on AT. By thr way I like the way it looks and knowing upfront it was AT would make it ok for me to own.
