agentjim007, does it has scratches on the coin or it is a chop marked coin? I rarely see the chop mark is so light (ususally chop marks were punched very deep) and you could see the flatness from the other side of the coin
In oriental, an original coin with all chop marks (barely could identify what coin type is) is worth much more than the coin with a few chop marks. tradedollarnut, do you have any? If yes, would you show us an example
The only one I have that has tons of chopmarks is a rare 1875-CC type II reverse.
I tend to like them with just a few chops on each side. I've got a superb gem 1874-CC that has just a few chops and is in extraordinary condition - one of the finest known if not for the chops!
