KlectorKid, This 1881 3CN coin is pretty common in advanced proof states. There were no PR 63s sold at auction in the past 5 years. A PR 64 could sell for $400-500; I bought a PR67 two years ago for $1000 and thought it was a go as a CAM. Mark, What kind of premium would a Cam have over a non Cam of same date and Grade?
Trime and KlectorKid, I believe that coins/issues which are often found with cameo contrast, merit little, if any premium for the "Cameo" designation. The 1881 Three Cent piece being discussed, is just such a coin.
