Morgan $ collectors - prepare to drool

I don't know how often a massive rarity like this in gem is available on the market. PCGS pop is 2/11 (with one in MS68!).

PCGS $1 1892-S MS65

It also looks to be recently graded. I wonder if it's a fresh piece, or one of those crack-out until it finally upgrades deals?

Great date, but does anyone else think that it has been dipped? The luster looks a little odd to me.

How can you tell anything about the luster at all from a scan!!!!????? I can't even tell if the coin Has luster!! Being a MS65 I'm sure the luster is fantastic, But a scan can't tell you anything about the luster or overall eye appeal of the coin!!

I have several of this date. Raw but equal if not better in grade and i believe on one of mine i have a cleaner face. My next trip o the bank i will shoot some pic's.

I take that back i have 2 at the bank after reviewing my notes in my data base one is MS 63 by my estimation with a bag mark on the left wing the other is ms 65 or better with a ultra clean face
neither has been graded by any service.
