I stopped at the coin shop on the way home today

I stop to pick up some more 2x2 and to get the latest state quarter. I use 2x2 in a 3 ring pocket page for the SQ. well today I finely found an State quarter album I like so I got it. it is a Harris very nice album. I was talking with the deal and asked about bust coins he pulled out a try of some of the pretty bust halves I have ever seen I left with a 31 vf capped bust half and put a vf type 1 SLQ on layaway. life is good for me today.

Yes, it's alway's nice to buy some good coins. I wish there was a coin store in my town- you would think that with over a hundred thousand people that there would be one coin store. mike

wow - darktone/mike - this is the land of opportunity, and you could start your own coinshop, and have the first one in town (and then maybe franchise the concept - and have people everywhere pay you for franchise fees and buy your stuff,etc)

I might have thought big like that a few years ago before I opened my own business- now I am just trying to make a compfortable living. mike

That might not be a bad idea.You could take your small fortune and turn it into......a smaller fortune.
Ah.Nevermind.Just shop online and hunt for the bargains.

ya gotta love "layaway" at a coin shop!!! i avoided the local shop last week cause my pile is big enough already and i'm working all this week so i know i can put off squaring with him till the weekend. man it was tough staying away!!! and he went to an auction on sunday so he'll have some fresh stuff, or what's left of it, the next time i visit. am i terminal, or what?!?!?!?
