In that case, why not send to President Bush's kids? They are the children of the President, has an uncle who is Governor of Florida and has a granddaddy who was also President. If you work your way down the family tree in the future, you can add to those stats.

Umm.. doesn't matter. I'm just using your logic. Also, majority of the politicians have their secretaries sign for them. Just like this one:
I have a lot others and some have been reported to be secretarials. They sign so much for the politicians because of their busy schedules that they have it down perfectly. and the above is even better because he is a Kennedy which beats out the Bushes.

Most likely, it's a secretarial. Both of these addresses will get you a response which is why I think it is a secretarial.

I'm quite sure his secretaries read his mail and then handle his requests for him (including getting promotional photos and autographing them).

Did I say it was 2 different people? I said that his secretary probably handle his requests because of his busy schedule. You said you got it in 2 weeks? Try to picture how much mail (both snail mail and e-mail) which is NOT autograph related. Remember he is the Governor, not Mayor.. so he gets concerns and gripes from all over the state of Florida. Ok, what that put aside, think of how many other people send for autograph requests. Here are 2 reported successes.

His secretaries could very well answer questions from emails but could easily just put auto requests on his desk whenever he has time to sign. Plus like Pro Athletes -- THEY TAKE THEIR MAIL HOME WITH THEM ON OFF-HOURS FROM THEIR BUSY SCHEDULE TO SIGN!! It's really not that difficult at all. >>
Yes, for 1 photo... but multiple that by a few hundred. Athletes have an off-season. They don't have personal secretaries. Just team spokesman/woman. How often do you see an athlete autograph return in 2 weeks or less? I've been collecting through the mail autographs since 1988. You have to do your research. Just like.. this:
Ray Charles has always been blind. Looks very good for a blind man, right? I believe his assistant signed it, but let him do the last part of his last name (you can see the difference).
Not everyone asks for autographs, but more people ask about issues concerning the state of Florida in which he has to come up with an answer. If you only knew. I e-mailed our state governor and it took about a month to get a response via e-mail.

Current players, yes. But the best time would be during preseason. And send to rookies when training camp/summer league starts. I've had success with rookies who stopped signed after the first half of their rookie season.
