What's the lowest graded proof coin known to exist?

I think we've mentioned that 1895 Morgan in PF-10 before. Are there any known that are graded lower than that?

Maybe somebody should keep an impaired modern proof coin as a pocket piece for a few years...

There is a PR06 Gobrecth dollar out there.

Given the fact that the PCGS population report doesn't list coins below VG08 I guess we will never know unless we see one advertised.

I've owned a PR1877 (I think that's right?) PCI PR02 Liberty nickel. PCI knew it was proof because it was a proof only year. I wish now I'd never sold it. Neat coin.

This would have been about eight years ago I sold it. -Bought it off a bid board for like $20.00 or something near to it. I just had never heard of this key date in such a low, somewhat problem free grade. You could barely make out the second "7".

I wish now I'd have kept it, crossed it into PCGS and added that one to my Registry.

That would be a Shield Nickel, and, yes it was a proof only year.
