Its hard to pick who will win the CHAMPIONSHIP, but who has a chance for their conference!!!

Heres my current (early season) thaughts.
Eastern Conference
ATLANTIC
New Jersey - not as good as last year and Van Horn is playing better than ever in his new team but Mutombo is below expectations. Will be up there
Philadelphia - They seem to be going really well but I just plain don't like them.
Boston - not as good as last year, Pierce is really down and has to lift.
Orlando - McGrady has been superb, if Hill is fit and perhaps Kemp begins to contribute they'll probably make the conference final.
CENTRAL
Indiana - Dream start, still have to see if the youth can continue but good comeback today against toronto,
Detroit - Pfh.
New Orleans - Likely to make the conference finals, great form at their new home and Malgoire has stepped up.
Atlanta - Big names but no bench.
Western Conference
MIDWEST
Dallas - Probably the favourites for the title now and will make the conference final.
Houston - Playing well and the more of a presence Ming becomes the better chance they have of making the conference final, can't get over Dallas though.
San Antonio - WHta the hell is wrong with them?
Minnesota - finals record speaks for itself.
PACIFIC
Seattle - I'm impressed, time will tell.
Sacramento - Even though they're undermanned they're still going well, contender for the conference.
Phoenix - Too inconsistent to trouble the likes of dallas.
Portland - na.
L.A. Clippers - Olowokandi playing well, I still tink they need to develop a little more as a team.
L.A. Lakers - If they don't start winning they may not even make the conference finals, no point in just waiting for Shaq, if he comes back and gets injured again then they're stuffed.
