What are the most desirable Commemorative Coins? # 2

What about the Silver proof sets. If you got in new and got them from the mint you would be doing O.K.



OR don't you consider them Commemorative coins.

    I do not consider them Commemorative coins.
  • I agree, silver issues of regular coinage are not considered commemorative. Regarding the purchase of new issues from the mint, you may or may not be able to recoup your purchase price but you ARE locked in at the issue price should there be a rush on that particular issue.
