I think Banning needs to be done by IP Address

The only thing you can`t get rid of by losing it, is your temper!!! Heres an idea, if everyone would mind their own business we would all get along better!!!!

    I think the language has gone too far. Since I have come back I have not swore or used any vulgar language. I may not be the "Superstar" Trader of the board, but I will always defend myself when someone attacks me or attacks a friend. I will not stoop to the level of language as many have, especially PSASPORTS/BASEBALLFAN80

    I hate having the language used by many here. And to think most of the ones using it are under age anyway. I wonder if they talk like that in front of their Mothers. NBT

    I know this is off topic, but you are totally right. I was at a wrestling event and you should have heard some of the words a kid that was around 8 or 9 was yelling at William Regal. It seems like children now a days learn swear words before they go to school. I remember getting yelled at by my kindergarten teacher for saying "I screwed up" instead of "I messed up"

    The point is, I have a drunkn' truckers mouth and use cuss words as nouns constantly. But it's simply because I don't know what I'm saying until it's out. But to type/write it, you actually have to focus on what you're intending to say. I'm not proud of my foul mouth (not really image), but why bring it here?

    banning by IP won't help. If you have aol or compurseve your ip changes eveytime you get online.

    i`ve already brought that up with Charlie months ago and also asked him about using a credit card to join CU... maybe charge a penny but would keep them from getting another name and come back on. sure they could just get another card but i`m sure ryan,, err ah whoever would say heck with it after awhile, lol

    Quasar- Thats a good idea, but im 15 and i unfortunatly can not legally have one. About 80% of the members here are under 18. But some would just have their parents use their credit card.

    i can see the swearing to a point. but carol and the other guy were more worried about swearing then bad traders. I contacted carol and she said they couldnt do anything about, and that the swearing there was visible proof. lol, hopefully the new moderator does a nice job, and doesnt worry about the swearing, unless its really excessive.

    the new mod hasnt done much yet, the old 2 didnt do jack except get rid of people who swore.

    how can you not tell if somebody is a bad trader? if they have multiple posts from several different people, you can pretty much rest assured they are a bad trader. bad traders can easily get refs across the internet, and refs on here. Many good traders go bad. It is pretty easy to tell if somebody is one or not.

    Actually, that feature is not active, as I am totally anonymous. I moderate several boards and usually keep a very low profile. Rest assured that I will be keeping a much closer eye on this board as several of my other boards have calmed down with the expulsion of the troublesome elements.
