Registry Spreadsheet

Inspired by the posts in the '70 Rose PSA 10 thread, I threw together a
spreadsheet for the registry. It's pretty rough, uses wholly unprofessional
stuff like dummy columns, and isn't very pretty image. You can use it to mess
around with sets you've already registered, or to figure out the up to date
maximum rating.

File

For the "build by hand" tab, you can either enter all the data
manually (leave the "grade points" columns alone), or copy the data from the
"set composition" page of the set in question. Just grab the data including
the card numbers, Ctrl-C to copy it, go to cell A3 on the spreadsheet, and
Ctrl-V to paste it. That alone will give you your weighted GPA, completion
percentage, and set rating. You can enter the maximum grades manually to
see the maximum possible set rating.

The "copy from website" tab is similar. Copy the set composition
data in cell A3 as above. Then go to your page for the set in question, and
copy the data into cell D3. You can right click and hide column D after
that because it's redundant.

You'll have to go through manually and downgrade your qualified grades. I
also don't have a way to copy in "highest graded" data, so you have to go
through the pop report and imput that manually.

Don't worry about copied picture icons and links, they don't affect the
formulas.

You'll probably need to fiddle with the fonts and column widths to look
right on your monitor. You'll also have to select all cells and set fill
color to "automatic" after copying in data, if you want to see lines between
the cells (I do).

Feel free to use this for any purpose you wish, modify it, belittle it, or
whatever image. If you do use it, please suggest improvements or point out
bugs.

I'm sure other people have put together better spreadsheets, but I like
doing stuff like this and I'm new 'round these parts image.

p.s. I used Jeff's (LuxuryWines) Kellogg's set as an example, if that bugs
you I'll use a different one.

  • Very Nice Work.
I think that for many users like myself,
who are not too High-Tech, that should
be a great starter tool for our collections.

    Thanks!

  • Yes, very nice work. I had something going kind of like that but it only had what I paid for each card, grade, serial number, and any applicable grading fees. I've spent way too much on this already and I'm only 15% complete image *shakes head*

Please be kind to me. Even though I'm now a former postal employee, I'm still capable of snapping at any time.

  • I have had a lot of requests for my spreadsheets in the last 24 hours and for some reason I'm not having much luck with my service in emailing them to people who have requested them. I tried to post them here, but the file size is too large. So I made a quick website if you're interested in them:
