PCGS Population Report Access

imageI just realized as a gold collector club member I can access the PCGS population reports. Is this something new or did I just miss it when I joined back in January?

It was added as a bennie on July 1.

  • I had signed up for 1 month's access, just to check it out. After that lapsed, I tried to sign up for more and it says my username & email are already in use. I can't seem to sign up again. I emailed PCGS, but got no reply.

But! It is gonna let me sign up this time. Must've needed a few days to clear me out of the database.

It's a bunch of crap! And you know it's you when they tell you that. Another thing I've noticed is when you renew the gold membership you get another silver eagle. But with the platumum membership, they
    give you only one. image

  • All I can say is WOW! I just found out tonight about NGC's FREE pop-up population reports on the other board. You look up ONE coin at a time but then you get the entire population for each and every grade for that particular coin.

You 'can' find out the PCGS pops for free but it's a pain in the ass looking through the registry sets trying to find someone who has the same coin in the same grade that you have.

NGC example: It's in chart form and printable, MUCH nicer than my example by the way!

    1927-D Peace Dollar 1357 graded:
    40 1, 45 5, 50 3, 53 5, 55 15, 58 42, 60 27, 61 53, 62 172, 63 453, 64 515, 65 63, 66 3. None higher. None graded with the Star designation either. Those are also listed.
    Holes-in-One
    1. 7-17-81 Warrenton GC Driver 310 yards 7th Hole (Par 4)
    2. 5-22-99 Warrenton GC 6 iron 189 yards 10th Hole
    3. 7-23-99 Oak Meadow CC 5 iron 180 yards 17th Hole
    4. 9-19-99 Country Lake GC 6 iron 164 yards 15th Hole
    5. 8-30-09 Country Lake GC Driver 258 yards 17th Hole (Par 4)
