  • Why do you feel the urge to make a non coin related post here about it, only pointing it out to stir the pot, and cause more commotion over people who are better off ignored?

    Andy,
I posted this thread to ask what steps to take to remove an offensive poster. Coin forum related questions have always been accepted on the US Coin Forum for as long as I've been here.

Why do you feel the urge to reply to threads that you feel are misplaced?
  • you can't remove a thread, only one of the admins or someone from the forum who they appoint to can(if they ever gave someone authority to do so???)

Because I have that right, number one. Secondly, to remind you that it is misplaced(since when does removing someone's post or profanity have anything remotely to do with coins?).

C'mon dude. Use some common sense. Wouldn't an open forum post or PM to another member who is online be better than posting a tattletail post on here, which only attracts more attention to the person who posted all the profanity?

Andy is correct. The best generally accepted way to deal with a troll is to ignore him. Calling additional attention only serves the troll's end.

And, with that, I'll stop lest I bring anymore improper attention to an odious issue.
