Thought I'd share an outstanding IH copper-nickel proof from the William Walser registry set, care of David Lawrence. I know Mr. Walser occasionally posts here so wanted to pass on my appreciation for his tastes. The obverse is richly cameo'd, about as full as you could find. Combined with the soft pinkish undertones it's a real treat to see in person. Thanks William.

I'm glad you like the coin. I had two of the PR66s and finally "flipped a coin" to see which one to keep because they were both nice.

I only have one of Bill's coins, but it's one of the jewels of my c.s. Washington quarter set.
I'm proud to have the Walser pedegree on my '42-S. Even though it went from David Lawrence to Tonelover to me, I still think I got a steal. I don't think D.L.'s pictures did the coins justice. Your pic., Paul, certainly does! Great job!

Wow, what a beautiful coin. Any time I see a coin that old that is still in that condition I can't hepl wonder how many people had that coin and all the extreme measures that had to be taken to keep the coin in that pristine condition. Thank goodness someone cared.
Again, very nice coin.

We'll use our hands and hearts and if we must we'll use our heads.
New collectors, please educate yourself before spending money on coins; there are people who believe that using numismatic knowledge to rip the naïve is what this hobby is all about.
