Relative Price for same grade different service

The Grey Sheet publishes (Blue) relative bids for the "same" coin graded by different services. You opinion? What about the missing services? Where do they fall?

If a PCGS slabbed coin bids at $100.00, then:
NGC bids at $ 83.03
PCI bids at $ 67.81
ANACS bids at $ 61.60
INS bids at $ 36.86
NCI bids at $ 36.23

I can't believe they would have PCI listed above ANACS. To me, that puts the entire list into question. Also, when was the last time you saw an INS or NCI slab? So, where is ICG, SEGS, and (dare I say it) ACG?

Personally, I don't think those figures are worth the electrons coming out of my monitor.
  • Bob,

I agree with you - it is not my list, it comes from the "Expert" in coin pricing, "The Computer Dealer's Newsletter", the little sheet that most dealers take as gospel. How would you rank the services that you do buy? Can you put a relative price on the different services or would you pay the same for an SEGS as for a PCGS?
