It's at the bottom of my post as an attached file. I don't have server space to upload to, so I had to snap a pic and attach it as a file.

Picture comes up about 1/2 the time so got it.

Picture I see is cropped to the date area. Is there a legend on the obverse?? If so, Large letter, small letter?

Type of 56 or 57 letters?

What is on the reverse?? If normal reverse, high left leaf or low?

If interested in loaning (for study) and/or selling, please let me know.

Why don't I take some better photos and post in a new thread. After that if you want it on loan for study, I'll oblige.

Doug: Hard to concentrate on the FE; I like the blond better.image

Has something funky been done to the image? The area where the date ought to be looks a little smudgy, like it's been Photoshopped a bit.

Or is this photo known to be of the real deal? (The FE, that is. I know SHE's the real deal.)

BNE, I took the photo at my desk (the coin!) last night, but I scanned better shots later and put them up on a new thread, since this one has run on and on.

I would probably trade the coin for Elisha Cuthbert.

...........thanks a lot a , i just spilled my coffee all over myself....
  • Adrian,
I am attracted to old price lists. I can dream of how far my money could have gone in another time. For example, the following price list offers a 1836 Gobrecht dollar in VG for $10.

Buy the coin...but be sure to pay for it.
