Will They Grade?

I was going through the back building and ran across a bunch of 1985 (I believe) Baseball Topps Sticker Boxes. Six Stickers in each and they have Mike Schmidt or Nolan Ryan on the front. I was thinking that I have a bunch of these and perhaps they would be worth getting graded, even though there is no set listed for it.

Will they grade if it is not a listed set?

Just wondrin' since there are other decals and clothes listed.

  • I think they would grade you if you could fit between the two pieces of case. I would email Joe or customer support. They should.

Always looking for 1952 Bowmans and 1953 Johnston Cookies PSA 8's and higher.
  • They may well grade it, but at what cost. I'm not sure if you can get the set registry grading discount unless the set has been approved and is listed.

i assume you mean the stickers that were designed for the annual sticker albums that topps produced for baseball, football and hockey in the early to mid '80s. (man, i used to love those things!) if so, i've seen a few graded hockey examples so i'm pretty sure psa would grade your baseball ones. however, i'm not as sure that they're worth getting graded.

    Dale-

They will grade the cards. I will happily purchase any Mike Schmidt PSA 9 or 10 cards that you get back from your submission. Same thing for Steve Carlton.

Their biggest draw is probably player collectors -- and it is a market that has not developed much (yet). But they will definitely grade those cards. Let me know if you do decide to submit some.

I am actively buying MIKE SCHMIDT gem mint baseball cards. Also looking for any 19th century cabinets of Philadephia Nationals. Please PM with additional details.
