how accurate are ANACS graded coins?

particularly, bust quarters? I'm cosidering one on Heritage

Pretty good, but i usually only use them for copper and errors.

They are typically known for doing copper, errors, and die variety attribution, but I have seen quite a bit of accurate grading out of them in nickels too. I don't know about the bust coinage though...not sure what they would do with it.

I don't like the scars on profile.You could do better for that kind of money.I think ANACS should have net graded that coin.Damaged.

I am not a bust quarter expert but it looks like a Fine to me. I think the reverse is better than the obverse. I don't like the mask or racoon look around the eye and its generally splotchiness. Just my opinion though.
