I don't get...Memphis Grizzlies

I don't get the Memphis Grizzlies! Pau Gasol is the only guy on the team with guaranteed minutes & worth to have in fantasy b-ball. Battier was good last year this year he sucks averaging less than 7 points a game. And lastly Gordan Giricek the 1st game scores I think 32 points, so he's picked up by every fantasy team sucks for 1 week every drops him and comes out tonight and score 25+. Almost everyone on the team plays 20+ minutes a game, and frankly I think it's pretty damn stupid. Would a Memphis Grizzlies fan fill me in on why this team does this, I think this is the reason they are 0-8.

p.s. Are there even any Grizzlies fans?

    It's natural for any young team, guys look good on paper but can't play well as a team. They want to have guys like Stromile Swift and Shane battier on the floor to learn, but they still make rookie mistakes and/or get into foul trouble, so they have to play vets like Lorenzen Wright or Michael Dickerson so they can remain competitive. Gasol can't do it alone, and he's still devloping his outside shot, so defenses can sag on him. Jason Williams still takes far too many stupid shots. And like many bad teams, these guys may not get a chance to learn to play together...guys will get shipped out, or sign elsewhere. Then you end up with a Warriors-like situation, where it's a cycle of bad season after bad season despite constant high draft picks.

    actually... drew gooden isn't too bad of an option for a fantasy team... 16.4 ppg, 6.6 rpg, 1 steal/game, and soothing around 47%

    i am not a grizzlies fan... but i think the reason they are doing it is so that jerry west can evaluate all the talent he has and get a good idea of what to hang onto and what to let the rest of the league scramble for. they have a lot of talent... but they just gotta find the right mixture of players and get them the majority of the minutes.
