Can Dusty Baker make a difference with Cubs

I wish him luck he is going to need it with them.I know the Giants weren't that great when he took that job either .But the Cubs seem to quit tring after the All-Star game each year.....

He'll make a difference, if Pudge signs with the cubs, it will give Sosa & He Sop Choi (haha what a funny name) so back up. With Wood & Prior on the mound if they make the playoffs they could be tough but I sat Phillies in 2004 when they sign Thome, Glavine, & Bell

I would like to see it happen I think Dusty is a great mgr.If woods can stay healthy it will help alot .

If pudge signs with them I agree they will be one of the teams to beat.With the signing of Dusty Baker that might help the Cubs sign him....

i agree. with baker and the starting pitching, they have a shot if they stay healthy. they still need a good catcher and maybe another decent out fielder. my hopes continue to stay positive! i love the cubs! dwayne

Baker seems to get the most out of his players...if anyone can motivate these guys, he can...I think the Cubs need to let the youngsters play...Choi and Patterson are good young players who should thrive under Baker

Dusty is a great manager but he's no miracle maker.
