1909-S/S Lincoln in registry

Can you use a PCGS 1909-S/S lincoln as an example of a 1909-S in the non variety lincoln registry? I am looking to get a nice 1909-S and the premium on a S/S is not that much so I though I could kill 2 birds with one.

I thought so, but it is rather lame since after all it is a 1909-S.

but you CAN put in things like off centered and off metal coins?

Look at the labels. The 09-S is coin "1A" and the 09-S/S is 2B
