Crossover Rates ?

I have seen mention of crossover rates of NGC to PCGS anywhere from 20% to 50%.
Is this a published value that can be seen somewhere? or just opinions by multiple submitters?
Now for my tough question - what is the chance of an ANACS or ICG slab crossing over? If I wanted a coin in PCGS instead of either of these 2, should I just crack it out?
I'm guessing that 95%+ will come back between 2 MS grades lower to 1 MS grade higher, and realize it depends on the coin, but a valuable 65 coming back as a not-so valuable 63 (or heavens forbid AU-58) in PCGS would defeat my purpose. Is this just part of the tuition if I wanna play the crack-out game? Try, try, try again and keep those slabbing companies in business?

I said I'd come on here and tell everyone of my latest attempt at crossover.I submitted a NGC 1954 PR68 CAM to PCGS for crossover. It didn't.They(the graders) determined there was under magnification some kind of oil on the reverse.I didn't notice it myself. The best they could give it was PR66.While I'm dissapointed, and it goes to prove PCGS crossover rate as mentioned by Mr Hall is right on the mark.
