PCGS IS DOING THE RIGHT THING! part II

I didn't want to make this public until I knew the outcome but now I basically do so here it is:
I had a cameo proof Franklin half which was sent to PCGS along with some others. One came back with a scratch on the coin, in the holder. Charlie said I should send it back for review, to his attention. So I did.
Charlie then replied to me that the consensus was that the coin had a planchet flaw. There was no problem with the coin when I sent it in and it certainly wasn't scratched. Actually it looks like a gouge. Anyway, he has offered to buy the coin at my cost and I have sent him the information he needs. Unfortunately, my cost was about a third of what it would sell for in the grade it recieved but nonetheless I'm happy. The dollar value to me isn't as important as PCGS backing their product, and they are. He invited me to call him if I want to discuss it but I don't need to.
So I'd just like to take this opportunity to say KUDOS to PCGS and to Charlie for being so easy to work with. Thank you.
(p.s. they needed a reciept or auction number showing me as the winning bidder so don't lose this information! I sent him a copy of my PayPal reciept, hopefully that will be good enough.)
