Super 1939 NGC proof Jeff on TeleTrade now

This looks like a super Jefferson Nickel! I guess the nice light cameo obverse gets this one a deserved star designation. I would like to see this on in person. Since I'm not going to bid I guess I won't get it (It is out of my price range) image

That coin is two ways pretty -- pretty coin and pretty expensive ... and, nice SMS, Frank!

Congratulations on the DCAM, Frank: that will put you at 100% DCAM for the late set, right? Terrific accomplishment!!

Nice cameo on the obverse of that '39. I have been following that coin's travels: it was at Park Avenue Numismatics, with an asking price of $5000, about two months ago. I called to ask for an image, but the gruff gentleman I spoke with said it had been sent to someone else to take a look at. I begged off when I learned that the coin was "not in hand" at Park Avenue. Beautiful coin and, so far, the price is "in line" (albeit for beaucoup bucks)!

Edited to add: But it evidently didn't sell last night!
