And I actually get the coin! No fancy smancy red white & blue $5 boxes just a Luftpost envelope with a 2x2 coin envelope wrapped inside the invoice. dog 1697 coin

As it should be. I believe most folks are honest, including those in Western Europe. I've bought and sold several items from people in Germany.

Glad it worked the way is should.

Dog, I bought a coin from this guy last August and was surprised to see it delivered here in Oregon FIVE days after payment/auction close. Coin was fine and transaction was flawless. I believe Jochen has a webpage if I recall correctly and he sells nice stuff to his cohorts in Germany too. He got a big positive from me!!!! S

So now you have to go out of the country to find a deal huh?

  • I live in Germany, and buy from the German side a lot. Most will only charge actual postage rates, or at most add the cost of the padded envelope. I've never dealt with this guy, (looks like he lists his wares on both the US and German sides) but he's probably like most of the Germans I deal with...fair and friendly.

You're right cacheman, he seems like a professional. I paid him with PayPal on the 5th & he emailed me that he shipped it on the 6th; I got it on the 12th which is 4 mail days since you can't count Sunday and Veterns Day.
