A whizzed coin has been cleaned by some mechanical process (such as a wire wheel on a Dremel). It is usually spotted by the parallel lines that cross the coin (going in many different directions).
It can also be spotted by a coin that is has more shine than it should for the grade.

Whizzing is basically the process of using a wire brush against the surface of a coin to simulate natural luster. There are several ways to tell it including:
1. Unnatural luster (uniform reflectivity) 2. Etchings on the coin surface that do not radiate outwards from the center of the coin 3. Buildup of metal around devices that gives a coin a mushy appearance instead of crispness 4. And others.
