Hey PCGS - All 1856 FE's proof only??

Heard a well placed Baltimore rumor that PCGS is going to label all FE 1856's as proof from now on, even the S3. Question is, does it really matter what the plastic says? Is it already well enough established that certain die varieties are more desirable than others?? Will it now provide opportunities for knowledgable collectors to cherry pick the S3's and other varieties?????
How about you FE fans - does it matter?? Will the S3 and S9 price differential disappear??
PCGS - let us know what the scoop is!

Don't worry there are already enough ms 1856's already in holders. Can I sell you the Brooklyn Bridge while we're at it ?
stewart
I looked all over the past 2 shows I've been to and haven't seen any NGC '56's to "cherry".
What will this do to the registry set of MS ones?????
I still think the gap will remain for the S3 pricing because it won't change it's desireability one bit just because the great PCGS doesn't call it MS anymore.
Will they be excluded from the circulated category and all be labeled impaired proof at whatever grade or will they have real circulated grades?
