I was thinking of buying some old worn coins for my Little Grandson to hold and play with and put together. I see add's in coin world all the time. What does every one think of this Paul Simm's place are they trust worthy with old wornout stuff?

Got quoins?
I would not buy expensive coins from Paul Sims or any other dealer, raw and sight-unseen. If you must buy sight-unseen through the mail, insist on coins certified by a reputable grading service.
However, on low-end certified material, they might be just fine. If the price is right, go for it. In all my dealings with them, they shipped quite fast and were fair about refunding my money when I returned the coins.

As the child develops a collecting interest, get him started on a series like buffalo nickles in circulated condition.

<< <i>Kids will get more out of foreign coins with their multitude of designs and sizes and shapes than they will with US coins. They can be bought dirt cheap, and the kids can handle them all they want without harming them. If they lose some as well, so what?
