I got a call from Fleer Director of Audits and Investigations

Got a call from Martin G. Enterlin, Director, Audits and Investigations of Fleer Trading Cards.

This is regarding a Webber Auto I bought from ebay that was #'d out of 20. I contacted Fleer about it being fake or not. They finally said that they have no records of the card, but they feel confident its real.

He called me today because I told him I wanted to get a letter from Fleer stating this. He said he would send it today.

Quite pleased with Fleer. Surprised he called. Hearing all the horror stories from Fleer, I was quite happy with the service I got from the situation regarding the Webber auto.

Just a fyi to the board. With all the crap card companies put traders in (replacements, redemptions), there's still hope!!

  • Fleer sucks! they have stolen 3 of my cards (2 vince jerseys tmac auto) cuz i pulled them with creases. But happy to hear that you got a response.
  • I still have to say Fleer sucks. I sent in a redemption over 8 months ago and have recieved NOTHING. I tried 3 times to call their customer service and was left on hold for 45 minutes, then 25 minutes, and then 50 minutes before i had to hang up, and NEVER talked to anyone. I finally tried a 4th time and hallelujeh ONLY waited for 20 minutes before someone answered. The card was a Fleer Shoebox Sole of the Game Triple Steve Francis, and has a swatch of ball, jersey, and shoe, and apparently they are having trouble getting the shoe. Idiots should not insert redemptions when they don't even have the stuff to make the cards........

  • Don't jump on the B Wgn too fast wuth the card companies, they contract the players to provide the specific items for the redemptions, the players are dragging their feet(no pun intended), Topps waited until last month to get Shaq to send a shooting shirt from last years redemptions. The companies really do need us, so I doubt seriously that they aren't doing their best to get us the stuff.

    I also read that someone had cards stole by Fleer? I am not sure how that can happen, can you explain?

    For as contacting the companies, I have never waited over 2 days for an answer to an email, and they usually send a personal contact number in the event I'm not satisfied. Just a note, before you send anything to/back to a card company contact them, get a name and specific instructions, and ALWAYS make someone sign for your cards, you will always come right.
  • Oh thanks for reminding me...... i also e-mailed Fleer's Customer Support, and to this day have recieved no reply, and it has been well over 3 months. I have heard nothing but good things about Upper Deck and Topps customer service, and nothing but bad things when it comes to Fleer.

  • I saw that auction to and wondered about the authenticity as I have 2 that are hand numbered (one #/20 and the other #/10). I had always wondered if the cards were authentic as I had never seen any other copies for sale on eBay. When I saw that auction lot, I was convinced they were authentic as the handwriting for the cards is identical on each of mine.

    It was a good buy. If you are selling that Radojevic #/50 or want to trade it (I might have some Jam Session Webbers), send me an e-mail.

  • I have been nothing but happy with Fleer, they jumped through hoops to help me when I had a David Wesley patch card (part of the Hornet logo wing) that had a big insertion crease. Sent me a Wesley NBA logo patch image
  • maybe someone just miswrote it as numbered to 20 when it was supposed to be out of 50.. who knows... glad it worked out for you

  • Topps is pretty bad I assume. They cant even update their webpage. It hasnt been updated since 02-03 Topps Bsk came out.
