To me, it looks like it has an outside shot to be real, but you could fit my knowledge about toning on the head of a pin and have room left over to run a motocross.
I would say AT, just cause well seems kinda extreme toning on a young coin and it doesnt appear to have spread to the edges or obv. I would think there would be a little "blow over" from whatever situation that coin would of had to be in to tone like that. But thats my opinion, I am far from an expert.
I love it, but the seller wants way too much for it, $250. This is an educational inquiry. It's slabbed by NTC, which makes the fact that it's graded meaningless as far as whether or not the toning is real.
air transfer toning? only if the air was butane. (heh, man that sounded way more rude than I wanted) But I still feel it is AT, very well done AT, but still not real.
Fake. There's a certain diagnostic which is a huge giveaway. Look real close at the holder, and check carefully for the letters "NTC". If those letters are there then what you have is with 99.9% certainty, an artificially toned, altered surface, doctored piece garbage.

Was this coin graded? Is that an NGC holder there...can't tell?
