    I'm in the Air Force, but I was invited to the Marine Corp Ball in Biloxi Friday Night. My wife & I enjoyed it... the sabre & cake ceremony was pretty good.

    Now that Marine Corps Hymn is kinda poking fun at the Army & Navy. I see they had the good sense to leave the AF out!
    Give Blood (Red Bags) & Platelets (Yellow Bags)!

    You right of course about it pre-dating the AF... otherwise when the Marines are guarding heaven's scenes, they would see the Air Force flying above. Also, if it didn't pre-date the AF, it wouldn't claim they are first to fight!image

    I love the Air Force.Best Chow In ALL the services.
    When I was in Okinowa I would go to Kadena Air Base Every day.
    We had ham and whatever for 4 days straight so I took the trip to Kadena and they were having steak and lobster.
    NO Bull STEAK AND LOBSTER!!!!
    I heard someone complain because he could only get 2 tails.
    Then someone(A local) came by and Took My Tray.
    It was like a friggen Restaurant.
    GOD BLESS THE AIR FORCE.image
