What's your best bank find?

I went to the bank a few years ago and asked to see the SBAs/Ikes !!! Teller didn't have many, but said she had some "weird" dollars in the drive through- go at 3 pm... fine.

At 3 I dragged my mom to the drive through and voila! A 1922 peace $ and 1888 morgan $, both VFish. Not a bad buy for $2!

i had to pick up a few rolls of various coins for change for a stanp machine i once owned i got an entire roll of silver dimes. I still got them around here somewhere. all in poor condition

My best bank find was similar. 17 Morgan and Peace dollars and a couple silver halves back in August. My wife (who works at the bank) even told the person depositing them that they would be worth more at the coin store, but they didn't want to bother. The best one was an 1889 in EF. Several were EF-AU.

She has found quite a few interesting coins for me in the last five years. The best ones, prior to the silver dollars, were an AU 1964D quarter that I found was DDR#1, a 1970D half (along with most of the other coins from the mint set), some proof SBAs and Kennedy halves, and a few rolls of silver dimes and quarters.

I know of a collector who got a roll of silver halves. In it were Walkers, Franklins and a few pre 1954 Commemoratives.

I've found all kinds of stuff, but my best find would probably be several 1983 DDR's (Lincolns) back when I lived in Florida.
