Well I learned something about SLQs today.

Not only did they cover up Ms. Liberty on the Type 2 SLQ, but there are a lot fewer rivets on her shield than on the Type 1, and the drapery of cloth lies over the shield slightly differently as well. I am sure most of you classic guys knew this already, but it is new to me. Another reason I love coin collecting so much. Always something new to learn. mdwoodsimage

    They also changed the numeral 1 in the dates with recessed dates (1925 and later). In the first date style the numeral one in the date was a roman numeral, the the recessed dates the numeral one was made into an Arabic numeral one.
