Storage of PCGS graded coins

What is your opinion on the advantages/disadvantages to storing coins slabbed by PCGS in the item described vs PCGS boxes?

"Intercept Technology" boxes. Lucent Technologies Bell Labs developed this special
storage protection so that precious metals would remain pristine in their current state of preservation. This box is very popular with collectors as this new technology protects coins and neutralizes gases in the air that tarnish/discolor metals without using oils or additives.

I use the Intercept shields on all my slabbed coins, they are then placed in the Rockin' Radio vault. I don't know if the intercept shields really do what they claim, I hope so, cause it sounds good.
