  • Go Wiz!!!!!

    Ken
  • hehehe Lakers are what 2-5? I have to give props to Brian Shaw. He was handling his business. 8 for 11 (4-6 from 3 point range) and hit them when it was needed most. Kobe was perfect from the free throw line, but only hit 8 for 21. Poor Lakers. Don't worry, Shaq returns in 1-2 weeks. Give him maybe another week or 2 to get use to playing with the soarness.... and Lakers should be back on track.
  • the lakers need shaq back tomorrow. Ughh

  • i can see shaq being a little rusty for a game or 2 but after that i expect them to go on a nice run
  • Now, this comes to mind... you can't blame it on Kobe's teammates this time. Brian Shaw (20 points), Horry (13 points), Rick Fox (10 points, 8 rebounds). I think what is part of the problem is Derek Fisher. He's shooting 33% before tonights game and shot 20% tonight and only 3.3 assists a game. Fisher needs to start finding the open man more.
  • thats the problem with fisher, he's more of a sg than a pg..the strength of his game is camping in 3pt land and hitting that shot..when he's not hitting it he's useless

  • << <i>thats the problem with fisher, he's more of a sg than a pg..the strength of his game is camping in 3pt land and hitting that shot..when he's not hitting it he's useless >>

Fisher is shooting 27.3% from the 3-point range and went 0-2 tonight. He needs to find another role.
  • MAN autobilia can you shut the freak up? do even start to blame this game on kobe son. Tmac shot 8-22 tonight and his team won so your logic makes no sense. Kobe hyped up the whole team after he blocked jordans shot and then fed shaw for 2 wide open 3's to make it a game. I'm overall happy with the way the lakers have been playing. They have no inside game whatsoever and the wizards could rebound at ease. To tell you the truth most lakers fans want shaq to keep sitting out, because every game except the cavs and spurs have been pretty exciting if you ask me and it just gives more time for shaq to heal. ......You wouldn't know that though auto because your too busy looking at box scores.

  • Im a laker fan and I sure dont want shaq sitting out. Yeah the games are exiting but the laker are falling short. If shaq can just play 30 min and get 20 and 10 until he fully heals the lakers will be ok.

  • man you don't want shaq back too early, because he could get injured or something could happen since he's not 100%. He says he's about 85-90% right now and everyone agrees it makes no sense to bring him back right now. This is good for the lakers to learn how to play without shaq daddy and they will be that much better when he comes back. I for one ain't worried at all, because championships ain't won in november. All the lakers haters can all laugh right now, but it's the last laugh that matters. I mean what do you want? Do you want the lakers to go 72-10 and everyone expect them to win the title and it adds that much more pressure to win it..........I love this. WHY? It shows who is a fan of who? It shows a fan can stick through with a team even though there losing or another player in the league is hot and they jump ship.

I love losing, because it makes you that much better!~

  • Hey nikobe, nice job by your boys giving up a friggin' dunk to end the game LOL I'm sure other Lakers fans want Shaq back.
  • I love losing, because it makes you that much better!~ Look, I am a diehard laker fan but I completely disagree. Losing is contagious and every game the lakers lose, the rest of the leauge loses that fear they had before. Most teams would lose to the lakers as soon as they stepped on the court because they didnt believe they could win. The lakers are losing that and it will hurt as the year goes along

  • rooks is right, the lakers can tempt fate for only so long, and one of these days falling to the 3-4 seed is going to haunt them. It almost cost them last year...it will this year.

By the way, look what a moron nikobe is, even when LA loses he says he loves it so he doesn't have to admit that his team is playing like cow dung. What a loser.
  • Look at the Bucks season last year, they were looking at playoffs easy, and then they just got used to losing, and couldnt get out of the funk, and endedup not even going to the playoffs....I mean I can see where your coming from, but if I was a Laker fan (there like my 2nd fav. team not to mention), I'd want Shaq back, I mean why not? He is the best player around! That's like Jordan being injured for the Bulls...When Shaq comes back, so will the Lakers winning ways

  • I don't think it's that simple.
  • I don't think it's that simple I think it might be that simple. The lakers are just not a confident team right now. They look kind of rattled. There is no doubt that shaq is the leader of the lakers, with him back even in limited minutes it might spark the lakers.

"he is the best wide reciever in the game"- TERREL OWENS

You just mad your knight in shining armor can't lead his team to victory. What are they now, 2-5? Brian Shaw was Mr. Clutch tonight and then Fox and Horry nailed key 3's. And like you did last season when Kobe passed it to someone for the assist, Shaw got the assist for passing it to Horry. Kobe is OVERRATED and can't lead his team. Don't worry though. Shaq will be back to make Kobe look good again.
  • kobe led his team to victory. Horry fell asleep on defense and gave them the game.

I think the Lakers attitude will change when their Commander & Chief returns to lead them. They will then have an inside/outside game again which gives the guard more open shots. nikobe just pissed his idol can't live up to the media hype. We talked about this scenerio last season about Kobe can do this and Kobe would do this without Shaq present. Kobe not living up to it.

  • << <i>kobe led his team to victory. Horry fell asleep on defense and gave them the game. >>

Nope. Brian Shaw was handling business near the end of the game. Had a couple of key 3's and assists. 8-11 shooting (4-6 shooting from the arch). I honestly thought the Lakers was going to pull it out. Stackhouse put the nail in the coffin.
  • what exactly has kobe not done? He has put up mvp numbers and kept the lakers in every game by himself. The lakers were missing 2 starters. No one could have won by himself with the team the lakers are fielding. Tonight is the first time any other players stepped up all year and they still managed to blow it. That wasnt kobe's man who had the last second dunk.

nikobe thinks otherwise. He's waiting on Kobe to find his superman cape.

  • Lakers are a lousy 2-5 and are proving once again that Kobe can't carry the team.

Kobe is shooting .438 percent = ~44% from the field through 6 games without Shaq.
The guy needs Shaq to get his open looks at the hoop.

He is one of the better players in the league, but obviously over-rated. His stats have always been padded by Shaq's presence. The big man makes that team. Not Kobe.
