It is not blast white. It has reddish toning in the fields. I think it is very pretty and original. It looks like a very good strike too, nice full bands and the lettering on the obverse is full.
This coin will upgrade or fill a hole in all but one of the top 20 Mercury registry sets. Rudy's Ladies has one of these in this grade; MS 65 FB.
Below are some images. They are not very good but I really wanted to show off this coin as soon as I could. I hope the sun comes out in the next few days so I can get better ones. I will replace them as soon as I get better ones...
This coin will go to eBay on 11/14 for a 10 day auction. I also have a 1945-S with the Micro S in 65 FB, looks blast white at first glance. That one will go to auction this Sunday.
