Buying Gold from Tulving Co.

I have decided to buy some 1 oz bars and MS69 1 oz American Eagles. Does anyone out there have experience with wiring him funds from bank to Tulving. I have never have done this before. What is better personal check or wiring funds?

  • Just send a money order!

  • I am thinking about using wiring. Over $5,000 Tulving reimburses $15 towards the cost of wiring and my bank only charges $20 so that seems like a good deal.

  • Hi,
I have bought gold from Hannes Tulving several times. I have always sent a check, but as long as you keep records, I would not personally be concerned over wiring money. Tulving has the best prices I have found...you do have to buy a minimum amount, which sorts the customers somewhat.

  • I thought that the maple leafs added some copper and are not 99.999, I may be wrong and was thinking of the Eagles. I do remember seeing a show on how they made them and purified the gold, could not be a better method, IMO, and a good place to put some money if you are buying bullion.

First produced by the Royal Canadian Mint in 1979, these coins are made from 99.99% pure 24 karat gold. The coins depict the Maple Leaf on one side, a world-renown symbol of Canada, and Queen Elizabeth II on the other.

The Canadian government guarantees the purity, weight and legal tender value of every Gold Maple Leaf coin. The Gold Maple Leaf coin is one of the most recognized and sought after bullion coins in the market today.

These coins are available in 1-ounce, ½ ounce, ¼ ounce and 1/10 ounce denominations.
Eagles are made only from gold mined in the United States. They are minted using 22 carat gold and small amounts of alloy to ensure a minimum of scratching and marring.

    Hope this helps.
